‘Bunga’ simply means Flower in Malay. Usually we would say ‘Bunga-Bunga’ when we describe a floral pattern. The first Bunga piece was made for my aunt, back in 2016, and since then, after the old Bloom series, it was only natural for this Bunga-bunga theme to come back to me.
Glaze differently this time, the Bunga are much more brighter and shall I say groovy.
